In A Pool Of Light

The fitters arrived before 8am and not long after 9am the kitchen was delivered ... albeit in kit form.
We could hear a rather animated conversation going on a short time later.
It turned out that there was a new printout of the drawing had also arrived and some of the sizes had been changed which what leave areas not fitting properly etc.
We went out for a walk while a phone call was made to the office...

There was some nice dappled light in the woods but I only took a couple of shots.

As we arrived home the fitters' van was leaving....with just one occupant.
It transpired that the phone call to the office did not go well and there was a bit of an argument so the more senior fitter headed off to have it out face to face.
He arrived back as we were heading out to a funeral and they were finished and had locked up before we got back so we will find out tomorrow what the result was.

The funeral was for one of SWMBO's step brothers - an absolute gem of a bloke. He was only 54 and went to bed and just didn't wake up.
His coffin was brought to the crematorium by motorbike/sidecar. No dark clothes were worn by the attendees and it was a heart warming service.
