The Farmers Bridge flight of 13 locks on the Birmingham and Fazeley canal passes through the middle of Birmingham from Gas Street Basin, making its way under roads, buildings and railways towards the M6 at  Junction 6 (Spaghetti Junction).

We were in Birmingham for the day and I took the opportunity to visit old haunts from when I worked here in the 1970's. At one stage, my office overlooked this flight just a couple of locks up from where this shot was taken.
