The Darling Buds Of May

Park Run this morning, the weekly shop and then the FA Cup Final this afternoon meant a trip to the garden for this emergency blip of promising rose buds.

I was delighted to see Crystal Palace win some silverware at last. My friend Martin (see yesterday’s blip) and I used to go and watch them occasionally in our teenage years, so I’ve always had a soft spot for them. They thoroughly deserved to win for carrying out their game plan so well and it’s good to see the honours being spread around.
