Little Phil?
We were in no rush this morning; we were only two hours from the farm. The breakfast bar was scarce - commercially made sausage and eggs, neither of which I can eat. I chose a small muffin and scone. We contacted my sister to see when they planned to get to the farm. Her medical tests took less time than they’d expected so they came up her last night. We headed there as soon as we picked up last minute groceries. We arrived around noon. Hubby emptied the SUV and I put everything away. We are expecting rain most of the week. My sister and BIL worked outside all morning. We used the rotisserie chicken I picked up for lunch. My sister made asparagus soup for tomorrow. I am glad I got an appointment with the orthopedic doctor next week. My heel is no better and I am SO tired of hobbling. It puts even more stress on those old knees. Hope they figure out the problem quickly. We were cleaning up from lunch and happened to look out the kitchen window. A family of ground hogs has taken up residence in the front flower garden. The burrow is big and deep. They have eaten many of my sister’s plants down to ground level. She is quite unhappy. Can’t blame her even if the babies are adorable. We are heading out for a ride on the buggy. Wishing you a pleasant ride through nature. Stay safe.
