Tough luck

What ever you do don't park under a sycamore tree! This car is going to need gallons of hot water and elbow grease to make it safe to drive off. It's been parked here for a few weeks without moving.
I was up this morning to meet the cleaner at the rectory. The work isn't quite finished but the joiner and painter promise it will be and all evidence gone by Saturday when we are interviewing and showing prospective Rectors around the house.
No point in getting stressed about it, it is what it is and it's a whole lot better than it was!
Cancer Research shop this afternoon which segued almost without noticing into a thank you to volunteers event. We passed all of the shop's targets for last year and we're one of the highest earning shops in Scotland. It was nice to meet the rest of the team.
I've had a quiet evening, nice to relax now.
