Fife from the Prom
Morning walk around the proximate town; found a new old book shop, Cooper Hay Rare books, on Cumberland Street. Fine bindings, mostly, with some nice woodcut prints. Badly behaved dog which wouldn't stop barking at me, so disinclining me to go back.
In the afternoon out by tram then walked across Leith Links, which are very dry. To Portobello, and found Oscars for gelato and tea. 16C or so, and a light East wind. Hazy sunshine, very pleasant to be by the sea. Back by no 49 bus and tram from Foot of the Walk.
