Wetland Life
The Heather Farm Wetland area was teeming with life, both new and to come.
There were goslings of all sizes from bits of fluff to teenagers busy ignoring their attentive parents.
Four-spotted chaser dragons flitted across the ponds, accompanied by the numerous small blue streaks of light from the male common blue damselfly. As far as I could see, all the green females were otherwise occupied with their partners, as with this pair resting in the classic heart formation on an old stump rising out of the pond.
