Hot daisies

Still the warm weather continues. Hate to be inside when the sun shines, but caught up with some photographs and various other things this morning and decided to have an afternoon outside.

Mostly weeding pots and repotting, relabelling too as so many labels don't seem to hold the writing for very long. My Blip today is of a bedding plant which went under the name of Argyranthemum frutescens Grandaisy Red Orange.  Not a very exciting name, but quite a striking plant.

When MrsM came home we sat outside for a while - no tea, but I enjoyed a glass of iced ginger beer. Eventually got too hot to sit so I carried on with my pots and as the sun began to sink behind the trees and gave all my pots and several garden shrubs a good watering. I just hope we get some rain before a hose-pipe ban is imposed. I think we're due rain at the weekend.
