The Herdwick Experience

Yesterday's meeting with the consultant was all good.  He was pleased with my eye and the operation has helped the astigmatism in the left eye.  I was able to read all the letters on the board too!

Some months ago JE and I had booked onto the Herdwick Experience which is run at Yew Tree Farm near Coniston.  We had brilliant weather and it was such a good experience.  Jo McGrath gave an excellent talk all about Herdwick sheep, and the issues with hill farming.  After this we went to see the Herdwicks on their farm.  They were very friendly.  It was a great morning and one I would thoroughly recommend.
