Water lily
Our pond is starting to bed in, with increasing vegetation around the edges softening the rather unnatural shape.
I bought lots of marginal plants last year, and most are doing really well. Particularly nice are the Ragged Robin, which have self seeded well, and spread around one end of the pond. I bought a white variety, but I note there is one pink one amongst them (pink is the usual colour) and so this will probably come to dominate in a few years.
And there are several water lilies, lots of leaves, though only one flower as yet.
I spent a lot of time weeding an area that had become overgrown with creeping buttercup. Probably overdid it, as I was very tired in the evening.
