Places Meadow

A stop over at my SiL’s. This is the church of St Peter ad Vicula viewed from Charlecote Park. The medieval church was demolished in 1820 on the instruction of the Lucy family and replaced with a magnificent gothic revival building, now Grade 1 listed. Peregrine falcons are nesting on the tower, one can be seen in flight to the right of the church tower. Hidden from view is the river Avon - Places Meadow floods every winter.
