Enjoying the rain

I woke this morning to the sound of rain which is much needed. It didn’t last long but l took the opportunity to take a photo of these flowers growing in the garden.

After an enjoyable breakfast my friend’s son arrived. I hadn’t seen him for many years having memories of him as a child. He also hadn’t seen our other university friend for several years so it was lovely to discuss things with him.

After this l returned home by train. It was an easy journey and seems warmer here. What an enjoyable time l have had especially catching up with old friends and meeting my friend’s son.
