Trying to make the best use of the three remaining dry days.

First I decided to try and rinse the layer of dust off the car. I didn’t want to bother with soapy water and the hosepipe so just used a bucket of warm water and a sponge. Think it’s worked.

Then I cut the lawns, did some deadheading and tied some of the taller plants to their supports. I’ve an assortment of aquilegia colours and I like the paler ones (pinkish) most so I’ve left the tops on them and hope they will self seed.

I had a short wander later and spotted these dandelions on a roadside verge.
