Contrast

Another day of small garden jobs in the chilly but somewhat sunny weather.  I prepared a plant box for some vegetables which I normally don't do but decided to test anyway. I'm only growing some carrots, radish and maybe some salad to begin with, I don't like to be tied to the garden with too much watering and weeding, I've never quite been interested but I'll give it a try.

For some time I've had a clogged up ear, something that keeps coming every second year and then I need to treat it with a special medical spray that softens the clog so that it can be washed out by a nurse. That happened today and the relief when I suddenly get all my hearing back is enormous. Luckily I haven't had any problems doing the mixing jobs I had but I could feel ny left ear nearly clogging up completely.

During my walk I noticed, like so many times before, that it's raining over the mainland while we have sun on the island. Somehow the rain can't get across the narrow sound when the water is heating up. The sun created a nice effect lighting up the overflowered dandelions and creating a haze in the rainfall over land.
