Bus Pass Walk - Green

Another warm and sunny day. 3 of us caught the bus to Gilstead and walked down through Milner Field to the river. Crossed the river and canal to The Higher Ground for iced lattes to cool us down. The canal towpath was closed off at Hirst Wood Locks for a  towpath upgrade so we walked through the cool and shady woodland (main photo) and on to Dowley Gap then back to Bingley. We met up with 3 others in The Loft Cafe for lunch. No buses home as we got lifts. :-) 2 extras from the walk below.
