Diffused Glow

On the strawberries and chives.  Not quite on Ingeborg's theme of a natural abstract today, but thank you as ever for hosting.

At last the carpet fitters appeared mid-afternoon and fitted the correct flooring in the bathroom.  Only lino but a wood floor pattern in silver grey which looks lovely with the grey tiles and white paintwork.  Very pleased and mightily relieved that all our serious maintenance jobs are finished for the moment.  Oh, there will be new towels  and bathmat to choose sometime!

For the rest of the afternoon we've been titivating bits in the garden and now to relax for the evening as we've been invited to have dinner  with friends.  

A  cool start to the day but a very pleasant afternoon and early evening, so far.
