The Blue Rose

Again!  

The carpet company rang at 1pm to say that the correct bathroom flooring had not arrived this morning,  they have promised it for tomorrow …… I wasn’t best pleased, but
 
Never mind, friend H came over, brought me a few plants for our little garden.  We had coffee in the sunshine and chewed an awful lot of fat, haven’t seen her for too long.  I made lunch, quiche, Cornish new potatoes and a large green salad followed by a DIY Eton Mess (meringue, mango, pineapple, blueberries, raspberries) and cream.
 
So tired this afternoon so after H left I had a bit of a rest.   Revived, I planted the plants she gave me:  Foxglove, little Lobelia bush and two mini Anemones for the gravel. 


The huge thunder and rain storm which raged not far from us didn’t reach us, so I’ve had a lot of watering to do this evening.
 
I wonder what tomorrow will bring??
