I escaped .......

 To the Country and the Chelsea Flower Show with Monty .... Don. Because:

The carpet fitters are here today and I'm heartily fed up with all that involves, particularly as the new bathroom flooring they brought was the wrong colour, so they will have to come back again, the Company's fault, not mine. Lots of upheaval again and even more cups of tea to be made? They (the carpet fitters) arrived at 12 noon and left at 4pm. After which there was even more upheaval to put everything back again.

Mr HB got his computer up and working so was happy, and I spent an hour in my little garden chilling with a glass of wine. The Erigeron is taking off in Extra.

Feeling pleased that house and garden maintenance are completed for a while,
apart from the bathroom flooring??
