A three dog day!
An action packed day. Out early (but not as early as the gym goer, of course) round the Links. We had been invited over for morning tea to Pip's house, but first Pip's dad, and his visiting mum, wanted to walk down to Stockbridge to a famous pastry shop, then walk back...so it was more like a lunch date…
Archie was his usual ungracious visitor. The door is opened (they heard him - he's been barking all the way) 'Hello Ar...' and he rushes in, past the welcome, straight through the house and out into the back garden. He LOVES it there. The pastries were delicious. And we brought some huge gorgeous strawberries.
Ferg's mum, whom we've met before, is visiting, so it was nice to catch up with her. They then went off into town followed by a meal locally, so Pip came to visit us for the afternoon/evening.
Then Christine and Dougal came to visit. Pip famously is not too fussed on being near other dogs, but he's met Dougal lots of times at the graveyard. They were fine, just generally ignoring each other. I really wanted to get the three of them posing in one shot, all looking at the camera, but it was too much bother, so I just grabbed one when they were all in the same vicinity.
Christine popped round to view my bike! She has a sore back, and so walking has been a bit of a problem of late. Her physio recommended a static exercise bike. I'll go and help her to assemble it when it arrives, because I've had practice at it, and know the pitfalls.
