Afternoon tea!
Archie and I went to the graveyard this morning, via the surgery. I was asking if my new prescription has arrived yet, but I knew the answer. No. We had a nice walk round the graveyard - haven't been for quite a while. I didn't need to walk too far, as I knew we had a big walk in the afternoon.
We all walked down the road to visit Elizabeth and her Auntie Helen. Auntie Helen is 99 next birthday! She’s fantastic, but can’t understand how she’s reached that - none of her family lived to a great age. Two of her neighbours were also there. And what treats were served. TWO cakes - both absolutely delicious... Archie was the star of the show! Auntie Helen knows him well, as he's visited her house many times with Elizabeth. And the neighbours also seem to know him, and are fond of him.
We walked all the way back up the road. I managed it fine, but Archie and I were quite slow. (8361 steps)
I only did a couple of stints on the bike because I was too tired in the afternoon.
Got the new saucepans delivered today. The smaller one does a very nice scrambled egg.
