I hope he improves our wifi!
I received a text from the surgery to book a non urgent appointment for my blood results, so I phoned this morning and was given the option of a telephone or face to face appointment. I asked for the latter as I wanted the Dr to check my hip and refer me for X-ray.
That will be June 30th, she said. 
JUNE 30th? I questioned. 
We can give you a phone appointment on June 9th.

So that’s what I had to go for, ridiculous to have to wait for so long.
I suppose one positive is that the results can’t be bad. 

I spent a short time drawing this morning but then after lunch I was so tired I went to read my book and fell asleep.
Later we had a visit from Eddie the signwriter who painted Fiddlesticks
on the boat. It’s always nice to see him.

When he left I did a bit in the garden and potted on some of the smaller tomato plants. I’ll take them up to Scotland for Anna, Melanie, Marc and Sabrina.
Then I planted out sunflower seedlings. I surrounded each one with crushed egg shells and vermiculite in the hope that slugs won’t get them, they ate every one of them last year.

Book and bedtime now.
