Eleven

CyclopsJnr turned 11 today!

The day started with presents, which included lots of books and graphic novels, a new fitness tracker watch, a Lamborghini Lego, loads of football cards, a vast water gun, and a Sporran of his own.  

We went to see Granny before lunch, where his gifts included a new game, more graphic novels and a kilt pin (to match the clan crest of Granny's surname).

We planned on having KFC for lunch, but the first one we went to was shut due to computer failure, but we found another that was open.  After lunch we all went for some bowling and a round of mini-golf at the place he had his party last year.

When we got home he started his big Lamborghini Lego build.

We went out for dinner at our local pub, and took the new game from Granny with us to give it a go.  It's called Kingdomino Origins, and we really enjoyed it.  

By the time we finished dinner CyclopsJnr was exhausted, but it turned out there was one last lovely surprise in store when our neighbour's kids came round with a lovely present for him when they saw us getting home.  A lovely end to a lovely day.
