Brothers

Our first full day in the UK after a very welcome and enjoyable stay at Mallory Court mostly in sunshine amongst beautiful gardens and excellent cuisine - for more detail description of the dinner see LV’s entry for yesterday. We traveled up to Four Oaks and paid a visit to Bryn and saw his new place - he has a much better room and the staff there seemed really great. Took him out to this pub, The Crown, for lunch and, of course, had the inevitable conversation about football, focusing on one particular team! Here Bryn was probably reminding his brother that Man City would once again win the Premier League next year.

Then it was the 150 mile trip up to Darlington for an excellent Chicken Shawarma meal put together by LV with a selection of wines to accompany! Managed to sort out the van enough to sleep in what will be our bed for the next several weeks outside the house after negotiating the challenging driveway.
