Wound up in Wexford

Foxgloves

The seeds scattered at the base of the ditch last spring have produced a great crop of foxgloves, just coming into flower now.

Our flute group meeting for this morning was cancelled - too many members not able to attend.  So I did a session on the exercise bike.  I was going to do some more weeding, but it was hot, and I felt lazy.  The weeds will still be there tomorrow.

W had much more energy - did some strimming, cut lengths of wood for the front of the compost bays, and then after supper, spent ages watering - not a job we expected to have to do much in Ireland, but it's been a really dry spring.
