“In case there’s a change in the weather………”
20C at 5:00pm.
It’s been a good day for washing some bedding. All out on the line first thing.
I had a an appointment at the hairdressers this morning. Stephen dropped me off in the local shopping car park, before going off to JS Sainsbury’s.
Then for the first time I walked the short distance to the salon without my crutch.
A real step forward, so to speak!
Felt good.
I was still tired from yesterday’s 45 minute Hip class circuit training and still have to watch how much to attempt when walking without an aid.
Mid afternoon I decamped to the summerhouse with a new book to read, having finished the Labyrinth by Kate Mosse.
This one is called “Still Life” by Sarah Winman. And I already knew from the opening pages that I was going to love it. Over 400 pages so plenty to get my teeth into, so to speak.
There is a weather change beginning to show itself in the wind direction and the clouds.
We are forecast rain in the small hours, but it will be a warm night (what I think is warm!) not dipping below 12C.
It’s teatime now.
I hope everyone has a good weekend and halfterm if you are a teacher..
Bank Holiday this time.
At least our road will be much quieter for the week with school out.
