One Man Went To Mow

I cracked. There is still a week of “No Mow May” to go, but the forecast of rain for the next seven days forced my hand. Took longer than it should have been as I had to put new line in the strimmer half way through.
The end result does look considerably better than the jungle that was there previously, although it’s been more a case of lowering all the weeds to the same level rather than actually mowing a grass lawn.
A good session in the gym this morning and a big shop in Sainsbury’s this afternoon occupied the rest of the day. Made the most of what could be the last dry, sunny day for a while and had the roof down on the car whenever I went out.
Is this the last day of “summer”? Let’s see what happens weather wise in the next few days…
