Santa Rita Prickly Pear

It dawned on me that there may be a bunch of people who have never seen an entire mature prickly pear bloom. Here's one from neighbor on the left’s yard.  Lots of flowers yet to come by the number of buds still visible.  The purple color of the pads is unique to this species.

I'm still having that burning chest pain and general discomfort from the esophagealitis. At least I know what I'm dealing with. All I can do at this point is take an antacid twice a day, eat small bites of bland food  and take small sips of water. It could take a while to heal.  Thanks for your well wishes.

I just found out I'm colorblind.
The diagnosis came completely out of the purple.
