River Eden

Jess was off to Armathwaite to run with the Eden Runners. I tagged along for a scout along the river.  First north along the river without much success apart from a Nuthatch screeching at me from some shrubbery 5metres away -  blowing my cover...
And so south of the bridge. I came across this scene resembling rapids. As the water level was quite low I was able to clamber out mid stream on some rocks and take this shot. I pottered about with a variable ND filter until I was able to get some movement in the water without over exposing. I managed to not drop anything in and even stayed dry myself.
On the way back I was harangued by a wren but at least he had the bravery to face me out in the open..
