Someone’s Having a Birthday

Everyone was up by 7:00 and happy to see sunshine. Our BIL made his bride a special birthday breakfast. They went outside and worked all day: washed windows, planted the rest of her flowers except one pot. Our BIL painted the fencing that goes around the bed in the top right frame and reinstalled it after my sister put in her new plants. He continued his trimming job. While they were out in the cold windy air, I made chicken salad for lunch and prepared greens for dinner. Hubby cleaned the foyer. So much grass is tracked in esp by Sugar. We take our shoes off at the door. Sugar was so chilly, she was content to snuggle under a blanket with me. She and I made many trips outside. I made up the burgers and our BIL fixed my sister’s favorite meal for dinner. We will have coconut pound cake with fruit for dessert. My sister prefers cake with no frosting. I think she had a fun birthday. That’s what is important. Back at home, Mackenzie and Lauren are also celebrating birthdays today. Chase graduates next week and Kristen is having a joint party for him and Mack next weekend. We will attend. Lauren was celebrated yesterday by Jamie and family. Wishing you lots of celebrations.
