Busy

…our street is busy today. Once a year the 1st grade football teams come up from Sydney to play the Panthers team (Penrith) which our city has adopted. People come from all over to watch the match…except us who live a few hundred metres away from the sports ground. It’s not ‘English Football’ but Rugby league. There are teams from the eastern states and NZ playing in the competition. Tonight they are up against Newcastle (Knights). 

I started taking low dose aspirin last week and the packaging said not to take them with non steroid antiinflammatories. So I stopped them and have been feeling awfully stiff, not pain as such but a different feeling. I went in to the pharmacy and asked the chemist if it would be OK to recommence the NSAIDs and we agreed it would be fine. The drug companies have to write down every possibility for drug interactions to cover themselves and often it is not a problem. I took my usual breakfast dose at lunch time and it has made a great difference. We also went to the library where we both had books on order. My 3 are by AJ Pearce (a recommendation from edisteve in Scotland). I have just cooked dinner so Bob can stop going on about waiting on me hand and foot (ha ha). He will be pleased.
