Between fen and mountains

By Tickytocky

Common blue daisy

There are a lot of these around, but in fact, they are not that common except in certain places. One distribution is in the mountains of southern France and north-central and eastern Spain; and another distribution on the islands Öland and Gotland in the Baltic Sea. It has been warm and sunny today so of course I was down at the courts playing a match against my usual partner. For a change I won. I came back to catch up with the Test cricket and now will wait anxiously to see if Sheffield United can win the Championship play-off final at Wembley. They have not won at Wembley for 100 years and this is their 10th attempt to win a final to gain promotion. I hope this time the jinx will be broken.
