Alfresco

We had the offer of joining a parish meal in the garden of one of the church members. It was a warm and pleasant afternoon and we enjoyed a shared meal. We started with quiches and salads and then there was a large selection of cheeses followed by various puddings, including the host’s signature desert, key lime pie. It was all very pleasant. On the way back we called in to visit friends who had offered us for afternoon tea. I collected a tent which they want us to transport back to the UK on our forthcoming trip.
