Between fen and mountains

We both had routine medical appointments in the next village so I took the opportunity of photographing the attractive Romanesque church. The doctor said that she will soon be drastically reducing her workload and that all her patients will have to find other primary doctors which is now an impossibility. It will still be possible to get appointments online and in other towns, but there will be no follow up or relationship with your own doctor. We are in what is referred to as a medical desert where 10% of the population does not have their own doctor and the situation is getting worse. In other respects, if you are referred on, things seem to work better. In the morning, I wrote a talk for the next service I take. When I reread it, it sounded more like an essay so I asked AI to alter the style to that of a talk while maintaining the content and the argument. It did a great job. However, I read today that some language models are rewriting their own code and ignoring instructions. I think a bit like the Internet, a very powerful and beneficial tool but at the same time very problematic, indeed worrying.
