Hummingbird

It was a crazy-weather day, in which the sun shone for five minutes and then the rain fell, and then it got sunny again. We thought we'd go do something but the weather didn't really cooperate. In the afternoon, I sat at the kitchen table with my camera and my monopod and took pictures of the hummingbirds through the deck door windows. The big pink rhododendron flowers are still blooming and so the little green birds and the pink blooms made a fine combination. And on this day, I discovered the music of Dido. And so it was that I fell in love, and I bought some new music. Well, new to me, at least. Here is a favorite tune, and let me assure you, there will be NO white flag at my door. And I won't put my hands up and surrender. I'm in love and always will be.
