Scorpion

The wind has got up today and combined with the drop in temperature precluded quite a few insects from being trapped on my camera.

We had a couple of jobs to do on the paddocks, took Millie over so she could have a good run and I took the camera just in case. Of the very few insects around I managed to get this scavenging scorpion fly which although looking pretty fierce with his scorpion like tail is harmless. The tail is only used for mating.
