Where did all this water come from...?!

After weeks and weeks without any rain, during which we almost forgot what rain looks like (well, not really!) we had quite a considerable downpour overnight, resulting in some impressive puddles as you can see. The plants in the garden are pleased - as I guess are the farmers. Showery conditions are forecast over the next few days, although no more heavy rain.

I liked the reflection in this puddle of this truck in a local pub car park. The main line railway to Scotland is behind the fence.
