Rain this morning put paid to a walk around the town but it cleared by the time we'd had breakfast so a quick once round the Lord's Castle (Batonis Tsikhe) before we left for Sighnagi. First stop is Bodbe for the Monastery of St Nino which is very pretty but very busy possibly because it's Saturday.

Next stop is more wine tasting at Sighnagi (before and during lunch) then a two hour coach drive to Tbilisi. When we arrive we have around 45 minutes before we need to leave for dinner so we walk to Heroes Square. Dinner is in a restaurant on the hill overlooking the city. We had to take a lengthy detour on the way back as the road we took going was closing to prepare for their independence celebrations on 26 May.
