Bernina Express

A full day out over to Tirano in Italy on the Bernina Express. The weather was much better than expected from the forecast a few days ago. It was tricky taking snaps from the train with reflections or holding the camera out of a tiny window. Anyway it was a fantastic trip and having a very cheap Italian lunch was a bonus. Main shows our train approaching the summit at 2253 metres. First extra is a stop at Alp Grüm which allowed us a few minutes wander to enjoy the views. Second extra is a trompe l'oeil on the wall of a house in Tirano.
