Another great day
Mr H and I took dad to the Bradford Industrial Museum. I’d forgotten how good it was.
Dad had another great time, and it was very interesting talking looms with him, and the 96 Hattersley’s looms they had in Damems Mill - where he grew up.
We had to have our photo taken against the old name plate from Thornton Railway station, and then we spotted the Trolley Bus ‘going to ‘ Thornton too. I think you may be able guess what my maiden name was.
We got back in time to listen to the radio commentary of the championship playoff final, whilst watching sky sports news with the sound off. Very biased commentary again, but that didn’t affect the result! Happy isn’t quite a strong enough word, even though we know we will probably be relegated again next year!
A quieter day tomorrow I think, though my Uncle is coming for lunch which will be lovely.
