Clock watching

We went for a
Seafront walk and lunch at the Boathouse Cafe today.
We were delighted to see that the clock was working. It has been a clock without hands as long as we have known it (14 years). We were talking about it in the cafe. The new owner mended it himself. Apparently someone else said he’d been here 50 years and never seen it working. It’s a good story. Great cafe too, and gradually being loved and worked on. We like it.
