I was RD today and woke up to the sound of rain.  I got to the park at 7.15 as everything seems to take longer in the wet and the steam fair were sharing the event field.

There was a lot of debris and water about but nothing to warrant a cancellation.  The fair were encroaching on our route too but with all of the other run directors, unusually, in attendance a work around was quickly sorted.

The remainder of the day was uneventful
