Les pompiers !

Sapeurs pompiers are legendary in Paris.  They're the crack military unit who are the firemen.  Are there women pompiers in Paris ?  I must find out.  Anyway, out walking for a couple of hours this morning along the canal, a group of them chose the same route for their fitness regime.  'Regime' it definitely was. Non-stop and tough.  From my relaxed ambling spot I enjoyed being the casual observer !!
