The Feast Day of Saint Madeleine Barat. Born in Burgundy, France in 1789, ten years before the French Revolution. This is one of her prayers. " Hard work, dangerous for an imperfect soul, brings a great harvest for those who love the Lord."
The Feast Day of Saint Mary Magdalene Pazzi.
It is very gusty here but sunny too.
Jasper has just come to visit, and have Dentabites, so I will write more later.
I am delighted that Maria and a friend completed running the Edinburgh Half Marathon. She sent a joyful photo to Paul's phone. It is such a joy and privilege to be the mother of such a vivacious, kind, fit and hard working daughter.
It has been lively in our part of the neighbourhood, because an event called Clock Walk Orange, a local charity walk for East Lancashire Hospice, finishes at the Rishton Arms pub, about half a mile from our house. They have a long list of live music until 9pm and beyond. I am going to listen to Vianne by Joanne Harris, on Audible to block out the very loud music!
Have a lovely Sunday blip friends.
