10K for Charity

Today the Northallerton 10K charity run went past my house, as it does each year. I'm at about the 8.6K stage as they head back into town. My photos were taken at about 40 minutes after the off. 

The event is held in aid of the Pendragon Community Trust, a local centre specialising in sensory therapy for adults and children. Many run for their own chosen charity as well.


Two years ago I snapped our local MP (the then Prime Minister) Rishi Sunak running with his body guards. The course was in reverse that year. Today he was running again and as he passed there was a cloud burst of rain. Maybe that's why his body guards were following in a car...
