More Poppies

Because I have a lot of them at the moment.

Two years ago we only had one poppy down this side alley. Even the fern at the end has started to self seed with two others taking hold along here. This is the type of gardening I like.

This morning I did start reclaiming some of the patio. The grass and moss growing between the slabs has been reduced. I have kept any self-seeded flowers like poppies, lupins and chives. 

Sorting out some of the many pots will be next.

We had some welcome rain overnight. In the background you can see our biggest water butt which is massive. Our other 3 were becoming empty but have now been topped up.
