Roll With It

Best Laid Plans ….

…. And All That.
Mrs S on a long day shift and Sam out for the day with friends meant the boys, Paddy and I, had the day to ourselves.
A leisurely start by sharing some breakfast before a potter in the garden and the long overdue start on the shed. It’s clear that I need shelving and to be ruthless in getting rid of broken/old/redundant sooner rather than later, I’m currently driving around with a 1/3 sized anvil and a full sized, long shaft, sledgehammer in my boot!!
As it cooled in the late afternoon Paddy and I set off for a walk, a return to Falmouth Cemetery which he enjoys immensely. It’s shaded over a good area which helps on days like today.
Mid May, “No Mow May”, brings particular problems for Commonwealth War Graves Volunteers. Locating Graves, even when you think you know where they are, cleaning and sometimes damage due to strimmer cords.
Paddy enjoyed it though, occasional glimpses of his tail allowed me to track him.
