Now, as I see it......

Normal for Norfolk

We did the circular walk from Blakeney to Cley across the salt marsh this morning with Bom and GracieG, with a stop at the Wiveton Hall cafe on the way back.  The weather forecast wasn't too bad but it was windy and there were black clouds around; the marsh is very flat and next to the north-facing coast so we ended up getting hit with horizontal rain a couple of times.  Thankfully, we didn't get drenched and by the time we got to the cafe it was bright and sunny, albeit still rather windy.  Always a good walk though, and one of my favourites because of the feeling of open space and 'big skies'.

There are lots of tables and booths outside the cafe but after the rain the seats were wet so everyone was sitting inside.  This replica of Wiveton Hall is in the cafe grounds for children to play in; I managed to get this shot as we left and just before a child ran over to explore it.
