Absolutely steaming

Spring Bank Holiday so the railway was running a busier service than on a normal Monday.  I knew the newly arrived engine would be running but as there were three steam engines out, I didn't know which service it was on.  However, I passed the station and spotted it waiting to leave, so I headed up to the bridge half a mile or so further on to get this shot.

I have to say it sounded superb and appeared to be making light work of the train it was pulling.  It will clearly be a welcome asset for the railway for the next few years.
