Coleford, Forest of Dean
Once the showers cleared we headed to Coleford to charge the car, a cloudy and breezy day with some sunshine. We are not fans of Lidl’s charge point, the only one John could find, today didn’t disappoint, a faff to get it going only for someone to stop it a few minutes after we walked away, easy done. The second attempt was fine. We look forward to the day when all car charge stations use a Credit Card. Afterwards a walk uphill, of course, through old trees, ferns and birds song, and back down to the river Wye, all very pleasant.

Second extra was an old hawthorn tree with a complicated trunk system,
