One young lady . . .

. . . one piano and a big stage.

Jeneba Kanneh-Mason played Bach, Chopin, Debusssy and Florence Price, and kept a hall full of people at the Glasshouse Gateshead completely mesmerised. Magic!

We arrived at the Glasshouse (we still call it the Sage) and we :

- took a chance on parking in the car park where a few years ago someone ran into us

- were very surprised that the huge area of derelict land, where there was supposed to be a massive conference centre, was still several years later . . . a huge area of derelict land

- were impressed with the changes made to the hall in terms of seating etc.

Before the 3pm performance we ate in the Glasshouse restaurant - fine food in a pleasant, unrushed place.

A lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

Extra: unmistakable.
